From ballerina-style skirts dusted with twinkling hearts to dresses decorated with sequins in the form of fluttering butterflies, there are so many intricately designed details that promise to catch the light with every twirl. “This was important to us when designing the collection,” says the Coeur by Childrensalon team, “to consider how the garment moved when worn and how the details shone from every angle.” Explore a little further and you’ll also find a capsule collection of accessories that will add an extra flourish to her look. "We recommend adding a pair of our glittery Mary Jane shoes to her outfit for a sparkling finish.”

“It’s not just sequins and glitter that we’ve used to add detailing to our collection,” the team explains when talking about the craftsmanship that goes into every piece. “We’ve created interest through the use of exquisite fabrics too, like tulle, chiffon and jacquard-woven georgette, along with fabric techniques, such as ruching and pleating.”

Thanks to their delicate, sheer quality that creates volume without adding weight, you’ll find many of the Coeur by Childrensalon designs are made with these luxurious fabrics. One such dress is a signature of the collection: “Our ivory rosette dress is perfect for flower girls and bridesmaids. It is made in soft tulle and adorned all over with intricate organza flowers — it really is a beautiful design that can be worn, loved and treasured through the generations."

Amongst the shimmering sequins and layers of tulle, artfully placed bows feature throughout the collection. “Bows are a favourite detail of ours,” says the Coeur team, “they are quintessentially Childrensalon, offering that traditional heritage feel that our founder, Sybil Harriman, was so passionate about.”

Bows appear every which way: embellished with sparkling crystals, printed as an all-over pattern or neatly tied on a neckline, a detail that is seen on our elegant satin skirt set. The top features gold fringing on the collar and a pretty bow, which is decorated with a crystal flower on one side and a twinkling embellished butterfly on the other. The skirt is just as beautiful with its pleated georgette overlay, adorned with delicate butterflies. “What’s more, as it’s a two-piece set, each item can also be styled lots of different ways with other items in her wardrobe,” says the Coeur by Childrensalon team, “perfect for a variety of occasions in her social calendar." Accessorised with our bow-bedazzled velvet bar shoes, she’ll be ready for her grand entrance.

At the centre of the collection sits one very unique and special piece: the Atelier dress. “This design was created with her most joyous occasions in mind,” says the Coeur by Childrensalon team, “as such, we wanted to ensure that every element of its creation was exquisitely crafted and offered that feeling of exclusivity and luxury for our customer.”

Designed in Kent, the Garden of England, which is where Childrensalon calls home, and beautifully made in Derbyshire, the Atelier dress is whimsical, ethereal and one-of-a-kind. “We worked closely with talented artisans to bring this creation to life,” the team explains. “The bodice is scattered with organza flowers, which are then hand-finished with diamanté and pearlised centres, and the distinctive skirt is layered with tiers of delicate handkerchief-style tulle, which gives it movement and dimension."
